Invasive Plant Control

If left unchecked, invasive plants can displace native species, suppress and alter forest succession, inhibit natural regeneration, and create localized monocultures. These plants often thrive in or near agricultural areas and other disturbed areas. Their continued spread is a threat to the composition and functioning of the forest ecosystem throughout the region and could ultimately diminish the availability of commercial forest products.
